Narrator Opening

Welcome to our Language Theater! Benvenuti al nostro teatro linguistico, cari ascoltatori.

Today Silvia will tell Connor a funny story involving pork fat. That’s right, you heard me correctly. Pork fat. On the spotlight today is the world-famous Lardo di Colonnata!

As for our exploration of Italian grammar, my friends, I’m sure you remember we have already explored the Italian prepositions di, a, da, in, con, su, per and tra/fra in a previous lesson. Well, today we’ll see how we can combine some of these prepositions with others to create prepositional phrases. Moreover, we’ll get a chance to look closely at some partitive constructions.

So, are you ready to join Silvia and Connor? You are? All right then, let’s enjoy the show!
